1. Sugar Baby: Sugar Baby is a popular watermelon variety known for its small to medium-sized fruits and high sugar content. It has a dark green rind and deep red, sweet flesh. Sugar Baby is an early-maturing variety that typically yields around 5 to 8 kilograms per plant.

2. Charleston Gray: Charleston Gray is a widely grown watermelon variety in Uganda. It produces large, oval-shaped fruits with light green rinds and sweet red flesh. Charleston Gray is known for its good disease resistance and can yield approximately 7 to 10 kilograms per plant.
